APRIL SHOWERS METRIC
My plants look out the kitchen window
drops
wind
rain drops
windy seconds
shift, count them
fall
fall
and sips of coffee increase
looking for messages
along these dripping
fire escapes
endless rain
and April comes
in the time of distances
in the time of reflection
in the time of resetting.
