HALFWAY
25th.may.2016
Half-closed curtains let half the air in
purple flyer flies off the table announcing “DaDa World Fair”
some will go, some will be dazzled by DaDa fun,
I sit on a rickety chair, write on an unstable ancient table
Gary Snyder’s “The Back Country” by me
poems from the East
for Zen bums in the West
looking down from trees
looking out from tents,
some sing haikus, others shout poems for alms
knights of ease losing their pace,
metaphysic verse boiled in tea
and this San Francisco afternoon
fades on my page.
